We had an amazing stay, but the room felt a bit exposed with no locks, which made us uneasy. Breakfast was top-notch with those fresh duck eggs!

The view of the garden was lovely, but the room lacked a key for security.

The breakfast is exceptional, especially the fresh duck eggs that add a local flair. Set in a picturesque rural setting, you can enjoy lovely views of the duck pond and the surrounding countryside, which adds a nice touch to your stay.
The absence of locks on the bedroom doors can be a bit unsettling for privacy. The single-track roads leading to the place can be tricky, especially during bad weather or at night, and you might find yourself driving a fair distance for food, as there are no nearby dining options. the curtains let in a lot of morning light, which can make waking up a bit too early an issue for some.

Recommend it for couples seeking peace
The place is surrounded by stunning countryside and I was lucky enough to have a room overlooking a duck pond. Ducks waddling around every morning, you don’t forget that sorta view, trust me.
It wasn’t the most affordable, but given the experience it was worth it.

I had a lovely stay, especially enjoyed the fresh duck eggs at breakfast and cozy, uncluttered room with beautiful views. Just wish my room had a lock for privacy.
